Libations include The Poet, a drink inspired by Audre Lorde, a black, lesbian poet and forerunner for queer expression which features mezcal, beet honey syrup, chocolate bitters, amaretto, lemon juice and salted thyme mist The Queen, a drink inspired by Ru Paul, an American drag queen and San Francisco icon which features a turmeric-infused gin, calamansi syrup, coconut cream and lime or The Comedian, a drink inspired by Margaret Cho, a San Francisco comedian, which features Campari, Aperol, grapefruit juice and ginger ale. To further support the local LGBTQ community, Taj Campton Place has partnered with Horizons Foundation, the first community foundation dedicated to the LGBTQ community, to donate 25% of the proceeds from the cocktails. Tickets start at $50 per person, with a portion of the proceeds donated to LYRIC, an organization whose mission is to develop loving, compassionate, and strong families with the LGBTQ youth. Guests can look forward to a dynamic drag fashion show with the legendary San Francisco drag queens, accompanied by cocktails inspired by additional ladies performing: Catinni Vandon, Alpha Andromeda, Kaikai Bee Michaels, Jelly McJellyington Jellyfish, Honey Daniels and Pristine Condition. Sakura on Sunday, June 30 from 12pm - 3pm at Dirty Habit, located on the 5th floor. Hotel Zelos will conclude the festivities with Project RunGAY ExDRAGaganza hosted by Cash Monet and Rock M.
